JESS ITALIA-LINCOLN    “I love the challenge in beading and creating something unique.”         Bead Diva Jess enjoys designing project ideas using a variety of items, old       and new, and especially projects incorporating Vintaj Natural Brass Co.™       findings.      Much of her favorite time is spent designing jewelry with her husband, Todd. The natural beauty of the outdoors is an inspiration. Jess and Todd profess their dream is to live on an island and design jewelry all day long on the beach.   Jess fondly remembers growing up and admiring her mother’s antique chest of drawers and the treasures within. On special occasion, her mom would share the contents tucked in the highest drawers (and out of small hands’ reach)—her mother and grandmother’s jewelry. She told of the wonderful memories they held. This grand collection of jewelry was especially touching to Jess as it was her only connection to her grandmother who had passed away before Jess was born. These jeweled treasures provide special sentiment and will be an heirloom for generations to come.   Jewelry also ties a special bond between Jess and her mother, Galena Beads co-owner Trish Italia. They regularly sit and bead together, sharing ideas and critiquing each other’s work. Fond memories include packing their bead supplies and beading all afternoon on their pontoon boat while getting a tan.   Galena Bead’s authorized Vintaj Natural Brass Co.™ specialist, Jess creates unique jewelry pieces and teaches classes in layering, linking, and wrapping.
