JAN KETZA-HARRIS  “I love art . . . all kinds of art.”      In fact, art and color have been a major part of Jan’s life since childhood.     Encouraged by her father, a teacher in the Chicago suburbs, Jan experimented     with color and different media at an early age.   Continuing to follow her passion, Jan's creative outlets have included creating and selling wearable art and also matching jewelry (known as Picasso's Creative Clothing), which evolved to her current beading adventures. It was Jan's 20-year business and success that led her to meet Galena Beads co-owners Trish and Jess Italia. Bead Diva Jan of the self-proclaimed “Bead Divas of Galena” especially enjoys wire crochet and the intricacies it offers. Jan regularly teaches classes to share her self-taught knowledge and inspire others. Jan’s designs—which artfully combine her love of color—have been published in a long list of publications, including Easy Beaded Jewelry and Stringing magazine. In addition to designing and teaching, Jan enjoys painting and specializes in Abstract Expressionism, Abstract Landscapes, and what she calls Galena Expressionism.
