treasures in our expansive 1,400 square foot store.
Fifteen area artists display their varying works
throughout, also providing ideas for the visually
minded.

amazing selection of unique products, including locally
made, hand-blown glass beads and Vintaj Natural Brass
Co.™ findings. Galena Beads is not just a store you’ll
want to visit, it’s a destination you’ll never want to
leave!
Spend the day with us and relax. Experience one
of our hands-on workshops such as Beads, Wine, and
Chocolate or The Mystery of Wire Crochet—classes in
which we’re glad to share what we’ve learned along the
way. Classes that teach you how to create jewelry we’ve
proudly had featured in publications such as Easy Beaded
Jewelry, Stringing, Organic Beaded Jewelry, and Beader’s
Stash—Designs from America’s Favorite Bead Shops.

How did we get our start?
Galena Beads has evolved through
time. Our passion for art—in a variety
of forms—is what has brought us
together. We enjoy sharing that passion
with you and also doing what we love “at
work.”
Our store—currently at 109
North Main Street—in downtown Galena
opened in November 2004. Now called
Galena Beads, we continue “serving
creativity.” Perhaps you’ve also known
