The Walk-in Workshop
This class is designed for Galena’s visitors and tourists. We love to share our creativity! A great “How-do-I-Bead” class, which teaches the fundamentals of design, stringing and clasping. Create a single strand bracelet, necklace or anklet. Just breathe and let the creativity flow!
Class fee is $10 per person, plus the cost of your selected materials.

Offered daily, when space is available, call or come in to book your time. Please consider reservations on Saturdays for this popular class.

Beads, Wine & Chocolate
In this ultimate beading workshop, enjoy the wonderful pleasures that enhance creativity. Create a single strand bracelet or necklace while indulging with a complimentary glass of wine from an Illinois Winery and scrumptious chocolates from The Kandy Kitchen. This is a great workshop for a girl’s weekend. Please call if a date conflicts with your plans.
Class fee is $20 per person, plus the cost of your selected materials. Reservations required.

The Mystery of Wire Crochet
Bead Diva Jan shares many of her secrets of wire crochet. She presents recipes for creating your own triple strand necklace, walks you through stringing, wire crocheting and finishing the necklace with a toggle clasp. Her wire crochet designs have been a hit at Galena Beads and enjoyed by the many tourists throughout the year. Basic crochet chain stitching is required.
Class fee is $50 per person, includes a materials kit.

Vintaj Art Jewelry
Learn the Old World Art of linking taught by Bead Diva Jess (Galena Beads authorized Vintaj specialist). Create a unique necklace or bracelet choosing from a wide range of Vintaj Natural Brass pendants, findings, beads, charms, filigrees, and chain. Vintaj Art Jewelry and techniques are featured in Easy Beaded Jewelry, Organic Beaded Jewelry, Stringing and many more beading publications!

Wire-Wrap Pendant, Necklace & Earrings
Learn how to wire wrap with Bead Diva Trish in this creative workshop. Design a unique pendant, necklace and a pair of earrings to match. Learn free-form wrapping techniques, wire coiling and beading. You’ll leave Galena with a beautiful one-of-a-kind necklace and earring set. For this workshop basic beading skills are helpful, but creativity is required!
Class fee is $30 per person, plus the cost of your selected materials. Reservations required.

Sterling & Swarovski Crystal Mother’s Bracelet
There is nothing like the luxury of crystals dancing upon your wrist, adorned with your loved ones names. Bead Diva Sara Wybourn will help you design a name bracelet with sterling silver letter beads, Swarovski crystals and any other beads that may catch your eye. You may create a single or double strand bracelet. Great for gift giving!

Bead & Breakfast Couples Workshop
Staying at one of Galena’s Bed and Breakfasts? Come join the Bead Diva’s and make your trip even more memorable, create a stunning keepsake to take home and treasure. We will guide you through creating a piece for your significant other—how romantic can you get! Select from glass beads, semi-precious stones, crystals and tons of cool metal findings for your jewelry design. Coffee and breakfast treats served.
Class fee is $25 per couple, plus the cost of your selected materials. Reservations required.
